CSU Rams

We got some fast alumni running through the winter season right now, and one of the fastest is a State Champ named Alex Balsiger.

He ran the Air Force indoor meet last weekend, winning the open 800 in a 1:53.06, which is wicked fast. I need him to send me some facebook pics so I can show all of you guys how to "get out" in an 800 race.

EDIT: And this past weekend in New Mexico, Alex ran negative splits to drop a 4:12 1600 for the win. Hey Alex, when you gonna start racing slow and stop taking over my blog?? :) :)

Track Meet Order of Events

All events are traditionally run females first. There is rarely a hard time schedule that can be followed. A "rolling schedule" is followed, where the clock is essentially ignored and once an event is up, it is run. In other words, be early, be ready, be patient.

4 x 800 Relay
Sprint Hurdles
100 Dash
4 x 200 Relay
1600 Run
4 x 100 Relay
400 Dash
300m Hurdles
800 Dash
200 Dash
3200 Run
4 x 400 Relay

The only thing I know about field event scheduling is that they seem to change from meet to meet. I will try and post those schedules on a week-to-week basis.
